LEE ENFIELD NO. 5 JUNGLE CARBINE BAYONET METAL SCABBARD Overview
This Enfield No. 5 Jungle Carbine reproduction is crafted in exacting detail from a WW2 original. The blade is made from 1095 high carbon steel and properly tempered to hold a razor edge however the blade is not sharpened. This is a full tang bayonet that is pinned 2 times in the wooden handle. The blade is stamped with the marking's " RFI " at that means Rifle Factory Ishapore. The metal is deeply blued and the wood grips have a rubbed oil appearance. The scabbard is metal and snaps on the bayonet for protection. Overall length is 12 inches long, blade is 7 and 3/4 inches long and the weight is just about 1 pound.
