WW2 #4 MK3 LEE ENFIELD VINTAGE 303 RIFLE SPIKE BAYONET Overview

These are rare and hard to find. This is not a reproduction but an original WW2 British Spike Bayonet! This was the last Spike Bayonet for the #4 British Lee-Enfield Infantry Rifle. This Bayonet was made around early 1944 for British Soldiers fighting in WW2. These where produced and manufactured in large quantities but rare and uncommon today. In the pictures you will see the rear of the Bayonet. It still has the working slide/locking mechanism so it will slide on the end of your rifle and lock into place. The mechanism has groves for your finger to provide traction. It slides with ease, back and forth, like it was made yesterday. Expect some grease, grime and dirt on it due to the fact that this has been in a Military Warehouse for most of its life after WW2 and due to the fact that it is over 70 years of age. The length is 7 and 3/4 inches overall with a tapered point. Weight of this Spike Bayonet is just a few ounces and it is made from cast solid steel.
